Jamiah Calvin is a fine artist and muralist from Chicago Illinois. He grew up in the Austin neighborhood on the West side of Chicago. Growing up there, he was inspired by his love for comic books, music, and different genres of cartoons and anime. As he grew older his content became informed by his life experiences in the military and what he witnessed growing up in Chicago. Jamiah received a BFA at Northern Illinois University and he is currently attending SAIC to further his graduate education.

Over the years he has displayed works of art in galleries across the nation and painted murals in Chicago, Detroit, Oaxaca Mexico, and many other places. Ultimately, his goal is to leave a legacy of great works of art that future generations across the world would be proud to witness and view.
